Teen Improv Classes w/ Tony Lawry

Teen Improv consists of an 6-8 week session of classes that meets once a week on Saturdays. Sessions happen twice a year, in the spring and in the fall. Participants will learn the art of improvisational comedy through storytelling, character creation and teamwork. They have a chance to show their friends and families what they have learned in an end of session showcase!

Classes are taught by Tony Lawry, a Second City Detroit alum, has been teaching and directing improv since 1999. He is the founder of the internationally recognized Underage Sugar Addicts which is an improv group comprised of solely 13-17 years olds that have performed at festivals all over the Midwest, Southeast and Canada. Tony has taught workshops in Evanston, Chicago, Seattle, St. Louis, Atlanta and North Carolina specifically for the teen improvisor.
